About the Song
A techno track with both chill vibes and danceability, incorporating Arabic sound styles. The song addresses a highly topical issue: How is artificial intelligence changing our lives? Singer Lena observes the gadget enthusiasts in her circle of friends, who are thrilled that AI supposedly knows everything and suddenly transforms them into universal geniuses capable of things they never could. She also observes her female friends who interact with AI alternately as if they were Google, and then again as if they were a pet or a Tamagotchi - "Chatty" becomes their best friend. But Lena also reads articles warning of major changes in the world of work and job losses. And then there are the movies and TV series where superintelligence is portrayed as an AI striving for autonomy and seeking to seize power. In the song, Lena ponders whether AI can truly understand billions of unique individuals, cultures, and religions. And whether it wouldn't be a true superintelligence if AI helped overcome conflicts and prevent wars. Speed and curiosity are one thing, but empathy and feelings are just as important. Lena is certain what superintelligence would mean to her: If AI could offer connection to lonely people, provide healing for the sick, build bridges of friendship between warring religions, and enlighten power-hungry politicians that a peaceful world and friendship are far more valuable than the fight for resources. But what if superintelligence ultimately turns out to be even more ruthless than despots? Even more warlike than warlords and even more dogmatic than political or religious fanatics? Singer Lena concludes that she should give AI a fair chance and hope for all the opportunities it offers society and humanity, instead of just fearing the risks. But is that naive? Is that gullible? Is that already staring into the abyss?
