About the Song
Queen of the Dancefloor is an energetic melodic techno track with female vocals, combining driving electronic beats, uplifting melodies and a message of unity, friendship and love. Turtlezone singer Lena calls herself the “Queen of the Dancefloor” and describes how she can leave everyday worries behind when the DJ sets the dancefloor on fire. For one night, music brings people together and the conflicts and divisions of the outside world seem to disappear.
Her message: Let’s stand together for respect, friendship and love instead of conflict, discrimination and division. She also reflects on the environment and wildlife and asks how long we will be able to celebrate in the beautiful places we sometimes take for granted. When the music plays, people from different backgrounds and cultures can become one community – and Lena invites the politicians of this world to take a cue from the DJ and bring people together rather than divide them. And when the party is over, the idea should not end with the music. Lena calls on all the queens and kings of the dancefloor to remember that sense of community beyond a single night. Life brings sunshine and rain, happiness and sadness – but on the dancefloor she finds her own little paradise and feels connected to the people around her. The official 4K music video translates this idea into a cinematic vision of a futuristic African metropolis and landscape. Lena moves between a spectacular festival stage, the city and the surrounding natural world, joined by a DJ as music, people, wildlife and landscape become part of the same visual story.

Lyrics
Lyrics by Oliver LM Schwartz
[Intro]
Feel the bass, let it resonate, tonight we come alive
Hands up high, hearts in sync, we’ll thrive on this vibe
[Verse 1]
I’m the queen of the dancefloor, where the lights ignite the night
Forget the world outside, here we shine so bright
DJ sets the flames, the crowd’s on fire, we lose control
Underneath the starlit skies, we’re one, body, heart, and soul
[Pre-Chorus]
Together we resist, no conflict in our veins
We rise for love and friendship, break these invisible chains
For the Earth, for the animals, let’s protect what’s true
While the music plays, we stand united, me and you
[Chorus]
Dance through the chaos, hand in hand, let’s sing loud
We’re the brave together, we’ll gather like a crowd
No more fear, no more anger, just the rhythm we adore
As the world fades away, I’m the queen of the dancefloor
[Verse 2]
Close your eyes and feel it, the magic surrounds
We’re here to celebrate, let’s break down the bounds
Politicians take a cue, let love be our guide
Dance like the future’s bright, let the music be our pride
[Pre-Chorus]
Together we resist, no conflict in our veins
We rise for love and friendship, break these invisible chains
For the Earth, for the animals, let’s protect what’s true
While the music plays, we stand united, me and you
[Chorus]
Dance through the chaos, hand in hand, let’s sing loud
We’re the brave together, we’ll gather like a crowd
No more fear, no more anger, just the rhythm we adore
As the world fades away, I’m the queen of the dancefloor
[Bridge]
From sunshine to rain, I embrace it all, the highs and lows combined
Queen of the dancefloor, paradise in my mind
Let’s leave our troubles behind, together we’ll define
In this moment we’re alive, and together we will shine
[Outro]
So here’s to all the queens and kings, let’s raise our voices high
Dance through every night, under the endless sky
When the music stops, remember we’re a team and more
I’ll be your queen forever, on the dancefloor we’ll soar
