About Turtlezone
Turtlezone is an international electronic music project created by producer and journalist Oliver Schwartz. Blending cinematic visuals with electronic music, the project explores a world where chillout, melodic techno, ambient, trance and modern electronic soundscapes come together.
The name Turtlezone represents more than an artist or a debut album. It describes a state of mind - a place of calm, curiosity and optimism in an increasingly noisy world. It is a place where music becomes an escape from everyday stress, constant news cycles and digital overload.
At the heart of Turtlezone is the fictional protagonist Lena, whose distinctive voice accompanies listeners throughout the debut album Summer Vibes. Through her songs she reflects on travel, friendship, nature, communication, artificial intelligence, hope and the search for inner peace. Each track tells a different story, yet together they form a connected musical journey.
The debut album Summer Vibes features ten original tracks ranging from relaxing chillout and lounge music to melodic techno, trance, ambient and new wave influences. Every song is accompanied by a cinematic 4K music video, making Turtlezone an audiovisual project rather than a traditional music release.
The project follows a hybrid creative approach. Every song begins with an original concept, lyrics and artistic direction developed by Oliver Schwartz. During production, modern AI-based creative tools are used where they support the creative process. Turtlezone openly embraces technological innovation while maintaining that artistic vision, storytelling and human creativity remain at the centre of every production.
Transparency is an important part of the project. The virtual singer Lena and the use of AI-assisted production are openly communicated. For Turtlezone, technology is not a replacement for creativity but another instrument that expands artistic possibilities.
Behind the music stands a multidisciplinary production team working across songwriting, composition, mastering, visual design and cinematic video production. Together they create immersive experiences that combine music, storytelling and visual art.
